Reservation's Manager
Job description:
Ashdown Park Hotel is currently recruiting for a dedicated, full time, Reservation’s Manager.
The Reservations Manager is responsible for handling & processing all aspects of individual and group room reservations. They will be Responsible for supervising and training the Reservations Agents.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for supervising and training the Reservations Agents
- Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, confirmations, room need requests, and questions.
- Assist with reception breaks and shift cover where necessary
- Ensure the reservations being entered into the PMS system are in the correct format
- Communicate information to other departments with information that pertains to them
- Check arrival lists and double check that all special requests are followed up correctly
- Print reports and check details for reservations made
- Ensure blocks, party name lists and arrangements are updated correctly following up with sales where required.
- Entering group rooming lists
- Assisting the Revenue Manager with creating new accommodation packages on the website and setting rates online.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Candidate must have a minimum one year’s Reservation's Manager Experience or two year's experience in a Senior Reservation’s supervisor role
- Full Hotsoft experience or a similar PMS and Siteminder or Similar Chanel Manager
- Must be available to work at weekends
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
