Ashdown Park Hotel derives its name from Celtic origins. The Ash was a sacred Celtic tree and most magical of all was the Mountain Ash, also known as the Rowan Tree, which symbolised beauty, privacy, peace and sanctuary.

The Hotel was established in 2001 and since then has become one the leading luxury Hotels in the Southeast of Ireland. Due to the popularity of the Hotel, in 2005 the bedroom division was expanded by 33 %. The Hotel is synonymous for its luxury surroundings, award winning cuisine and dedicated professional team.
